Britannia Stadium 09/26/2009
On the 17th 0f September 2009, I performed some of my music and song at the Brittania Stadium Conference Centre Stoke-on-Trent. The conference was in aid of 'Grants for Community Learning'. Representatives from various organisations attended, together with funding bodies. I was warmly applauded for each performance. I sold four books and c.d's. Three people from different organisations would like me to perform for them. I was asked to play out at the end of the session. A very successful gig. Towards the end of my Summer tour, I was commissioned by Arthur Berry's sister to write and perform a dedication for her brother, Arthur. The title being "Arthur's Garden". This being appropriate, as a little garden with flower beds and garden seats was constructructed, in honour of Arthur Berry. Arthur Berry, Stoke-on-Trent, was: Artist, Poet and Playwright. Nicknamed the 'Lowry of the Potteries'. CommentsLeave a Reply |
